Cancelation Policy

Life can get busy however we appreciate 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This applies to both initial and complimentary touch up appointments.

Please text or email to notify us if you need to amend your appointment time. We also appreciate you attending your appointment on time, as the days are filled with other clients.

If your beauty/tattoo appointment is cancelled without medical reason within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit (or complimentary retouch) is forfeited, and another deposit ($50) will be required to secure another appointment.

Can I bring my child, friend, family to my appointment?

The focus of our time is on you and what you want to gain from your visit. We find that sometimes other people, especially children, can become a distraction; for both you and for your artist/beautician.

We have a waiting/small reception area, however please keep in mind we do not have a fulltime receptionist on desk.

How long will my Cosmetic Tattoo last?

A cosmetic tattoo is semi permanent, which means the benefits can last between 9-24+ months before requiring a refresh, this depends on the clients skin type and lifestyle.

Over time the pigment will begin to fade; the colour lightens and areas may appear faded.

Please get in contact if you require a touchup, if you have had tattooing done elsewhere please send recent pictures of the requested are to be tattooed along with your desired results.

Does laser hair removal hurt?

While some patients feel no pain during laser, others may experience a mild discomfort. Traditionally people describe laser hair removal as feeling like a light rubber band snapping against the skin, However our laser hair removal machine is the most pain free machine on the marked. the sensation from the cooling head is more than the laser itself. At any time during the treatment, you can advise your practitioner if you are experiencing discomfort and they will adjust the laser accordingly to provide relief.

How long should I go in between Laser Hair Removal appointments?

Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growing cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment.

What body hair colour can be treated with Laser Hair Removal?

Our machine allows us to treat a wide range of skin types from I-VI Fitzpatrick, to Blonde-Black pigmented hairs. We are North Brisbane's FIRST Laser Hair Removal machine to be able to treat over Fake Tan.

What's the difference between Microdermabrasion's and normal facials?

Microdermabrasions are a non-invasive treatment that targets the outermost layers of the skin. The diamond-tipped suction machine feels like tiny sand-like particles running across your face; a strange sensation for first timers but by no means painful.

Is there downtime involved with Cosmetic Peels?

The duration of recovery post-treatment varies depending on the potency of the Cosmetic Grade Peel and individual skin characteristics. With our Calm and Hydrate Peel, there's typically no downtime, allowing for immediate application of light mineral makeup. Following the Clear and Bright Peel and Anti-Ageing Peel sessions, minimal downtime is expected. Your Therapist may advise consistent application of skinstitut Repair Balm for 3-5 days to facilitate healing. Meanwhile, the Advanced Brightening and Clearing Peel involves downtime, characterized by redness, mild swelling, and flaking lasting approximately 7-14 days. To mitigate inflammation and enhance wound healing, we recommend complementing the treatment with LED Yellow Light Therapy.

How many Cosmetic Grade Peel treatments are required for best results?

Depending on the skin type and concern, the number and strength of the Cosmetic Grade Peel treatment varies between individuals. Your experienced Therapist will assess your skin to provide a tailored treatment plan. For general maintenance, we recommend this treatment to be performed at monthly intervals.
